Over the past months, your support has helped turn dedication into movement through the Pé de Moleque Project. Through free classical ballet classes, we continue to offer artistic training to children in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability, creating a safe space for learning, discipline, self-expression, and belonging.
January was a school break month — an important time for rest and renewal. Now, we are back with full energy! Classes have resumed, and we are already preparing for our next major performance: The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky. This production represents much more than a show — it reflects months of dedication, collective effort, and personal growth for every child involved.
During this period, students returned to technical training, physical conditioning, and choreography rehearsals. Beyond learning ballet steps, they are building confidence, focus, and teamwork. What moves us most is their commitment week after week, the growing involvement of families, and the pride we see in every small achievement.
A recent moment captured the spirit of this project when one student shared that she never imagined she could dance in such an important performance. Stories like this remind us why access to arts education matters — it expands horizons and transforms lives.
Of course, the journey comes with challenges. Coordinating schedules and adapting to families’ realities requires flexibility and constant communication. These experiences continue to strengthen our team and reinforce our commitment to listening, learning, and improving at every stage.
Looking ahead, we remain focused on preparing the upcoming performance, strengthening technical training, and providing individual support to each child — ensuring they have the opportunity to shine both on stage and beyond.
None of this would be possible without you. Your generosity goes far beyond financial support — it builds opportunity, nurtures dreams, and helps shape brighter futures. Thank you for walking with us and for believing in the transformative power of art.
Together, we are changing lives — one ballet step at a time.
