Orphan & Vulnerable Children Care in Bangladesh

Dear Friends, Warm greetings from Dakbhanga-Bangladesh. Since 1998, we have been operating two Early Childhood Development (ECD) centers and two primary schools (Pre-Primary to Grade V) in two unions of Ramu Upazila, located in the Cox's Bazar District. These schools also offer limited support for secondary and higher education. Recently, we expanded our reach by establishing a third ECD center in Jashore, broadening our efforts to serve more children in need.Now we are are implementing Our mission is driven by passionate and dedicated individuals like you, who help us support underprivileged children in their educational journey. We provide teacher training, classroom activities, and various internal programs—especially during the first half of the academic year—to enhance teaching quality and create child-friendly learning environments. To strengthen community engagement, many of our teachers reside near or within the school premises, fostering close communication with students, parents, and local stakeholders. This year, we are committed to achieving even greater impact than before. Our planned activities include: • Teacher training workshops • Annual Cultural Program • Sports and Prize-Giving Ceremony • Dressmaking and distribution through our first-year shop • Online teaching practice • Weekly sharing sessions • In-house activities to improve classroom experience. These initiatives aim to empower teachers and make classrooms more welcoming and joyful for children. Despite our progress, sustaining continuous support remains a challenge—especially for the underprivileged families in the hilly regions of Ramu. During the reporting period, students and teachers actively created child-friendly learning materials, and educators expressed their commitment to applying new techniques in their classrooms. We are grateful to our donor, Banglabari Belgium, for assigning a representative to guide our project activities in alignment with national goals. Throughout the year, we have conducted numerous child-focused programs to foster a joyful and engaging learning environment. Every dollar you contribute directly supports the safety, education, and well-being of the children we serve. Greetings from Dakbhanga, Bangladesh. Since 1998, we have been running two ECD centers and 2 primary schools (pre-primary to level V) in two unions of sub-district Ramu in the Cox's Bazar District of Bangladesh with limited secondary and Higher education support. Recently we added the third ECD center in Jashore, Bangladesh, to extend our activities to a broader dimension. We are committed to using motivated and passionate people like you to help the underprivileged kids in the workplace with their educational needs. We provide teacher training, classroom exercises, and various internal activities to enhance teachers'  performance, mostly during the first half of the school year, with a particular focus on making the classrooms child-friendly or a liked place for the kids. In order to provide communication with the community, parents, students, and coworkers, most of our teachers have residential attachment with the schools.

With our genuine commitment, we strive to achieve greater success this year compared to the last. We are focused on engaging motivated and passionate individuals like you to assist in addressing the educational needs of the underprivileged children in the area. In the first half of the school year, we will conduct teacher training, classroom practices, CPD for the teachers, online teaching practice, weekly sharing sessions, and various in-house activities aimed at enhancing teacher performance, particularly to foster child-friendly classrooms in the school. We are optimistic about improving this year compared to last, with our dedicated efforts towards the programs and your support playing a crucial role in ensuring the quality of services for the children we aim to help in the area.
To ensure that the impoverished children and their families in the underprivileged hilly areas of Ramu, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, can keep benefiting from community development initiatives centered around children, we are currently unable to sustain the continuous support needed from dedicated contributors. During the reporting period, regular activities such as the creation of child-friendly materials by both students and teachers took place. The educators expressed their appreciation for the program and pledged to integrate what they learned into their classrooms. Our donor, Banglabari Belgium, assigned a representative to guide the project activities in line with the expected achievements of Bangladesh. We have so many children's supportive activities continuing the whole year to create a joyful learning environment.
