Orphan & Vulnerable Children Care in Bangladesh

Dear Friends, Warm greetings from Dakbhanga-Bangladesh. Since 1998, we have been operating two Early Childhood Development (ECD) centers and two primary schools (Pre-Primary to Grade V) in two unions of Ramu Upazila, located in the Cox's Bazar District. These schools also offer limited support for secondary and higher education. Recently, we expanded our reach by establishing a third ECD center in Jashore, broadening our efforts to serve more children in need.Now we are are implementing Our mission is driven by passionate and dedicated individuals like you, who help us support underprivileged children in their educational journey. We provide teacher training, classroom activities, and various internal programs—especially during the first half of the academic year—to enhance teaching quality and create child-friendly learning environments. To strengthen community engagement, many of our teachers reside near or within the school premises, fostering close communication with students, parents, and local stakeholders. This year, we are committed to achieving even greater impact than before. Our planned activities include: • Teacher training workshops • Annual Cultural Program • Sports and Prize-Giving Ceremony • Dressmaking and distribution through our first-year shop • Online teaching practice • Weekly sharing sessions • In-house activities to improve classroom experience. These initiatives aim to empower teachers and make classrooms more welcoming and joyful for children. Despite our progress, sustaining continuous support remains a challenge—especially for the underprivileged families in the hilly regions of Ramu. During the reporting period, students and teachers actively created child-friendly learning materials, and educators expressed their commitment to applying new techniques in their classrooms. We are grateful to our donor, Banglabari Belgium, for assigning a representative to guide our project activities in alignment with national goals. Throughout the year, we have conducted numerous child-focused programs to foster a joyful and engaging learning environment. Every dollar you contribute directly supports the safety, education, and well-being of the children we serve.
