The project of vegetable growing has been very instrumental/beneficial to us. Women have kitchen gardens that have been of great help during the drought period that we have experienced between march - june this year of 2026.
45 women have planted organic vegetables at their homes in kitchen gardens that supply them with vegetables for consumption and surplus taken to the market for sale to generate income.
Through the sale of Vegetables, women are able to feed their children , and buy their needs like peti-coats, under wears, bras.
Seedling are supplied to the women from the nursery beds at our demonstration garden, They get seedlings and plant them in their own gardens.
We are thankful to all people that have funded this project.
