The project is running very well where 40 women of Twase Women Development Trust . The women are producing vegetables for home consumption, and for sale.
The money generated through selling is helping the women beef up their micro-finance. The micro-finance now has 20millions Ugandan shillings.
As a bi-product of the project, we have started purchase of goats, and giving them to farmers on a revolving principle where we feel that this strategy will serve over 200 married women in our community.
We are thankful to the welwishers for the constant support. We really need more support.
