Creating Opportunities Through Tertiary Education and Skills Training

Good Cause Foundation recognizes that education extends beyond secondary school. During this reporting period, the project continued supporting youth enrolled in tertiary institutions and vocational training centers.

Many beneficiaries are pursuing technical and professional certifications in fields that can lead to sustainable employment and economic independence. Through educational assistance, students were able to continue their studies without interruption and remain focused on acquiring valuable skills.

Several beneficiaries reported improved confidence and optimism about their future career prospects. The support they received not only covered educational costs but also provided encouragement and motivation to persevere despite challenges.

Our team maintained communication with students and institutions to track academic progress and identify emerging needs.

 Expanding Access to Secondary Education

During this reporting period, Good Cause Foundation continued supporting vulnerable learners transitioning from primary to secondary school. Many families in our target communities face significant financial challenges that make it difficult to cover tuition fees, learning materials, and daily school expenses.

Through donor contributions, students received support for school fees, exercise books, pens, textbooks, and school lunch assistance. These resources helped learners remain enrolled and participate fully in classroom activities. Teachers reported improved attendance and increased engagement among supported students.

In addition to educational support, our team conducted follow-up visits with schools and families to monitor learner progress and identify additional needs. These visits strengthened communication between parents, schools, and the Foundation.

Challenges: Rising educational costs continue to increase the demand for support.

Looking Forward: We plan to support more learners entering secondary school and strengthen academic mentorship activities.
