Dear OCEF Donors,
Thank you for your active support! While almost three months have passed since the 2013 GlobalGiving Open Challenge, our “Improve Educational Equity in Rural China” project on GlobalGiving.org continues to receive your generous contributions. We would like to inform you that on February 12th, GlobalGiving will be having a Bonus Day, during which 30% of all donations between $10 and $1,000 will be matched. The project with the most donors will get an extra $1,000 grant. Matching begins at 9 am Eastern time on Feb 12. Please help us use this day to most advantage, so we can raise more funds for the children.
During the past 3 months, we collected over $4,000 in successive donations. In addition to finishing the projects to which we introduced you in the last report, we have been focusing on purchasing books for students who seriously lack reading materials outside of class. Thanks to you, these children have read the books that they needed and of which they dreamed.
We will keep you informed about the progress of our work and the conditions of our aid-recipients.
