Provided is a report concerning the situation of children in two villages which are benefiting from this project.
300 children are given free, full meals regularly. They have been given regular meals since March 2025, which has increased their attendance in the schools by 80% - they are attending at least 4 out of 5 days in school, and are only unable to attend due to either political situations, route concerns, or special holidays in the country.
The meals are full of nutrients that are the minimum requirements to ensure that they are able to complete their course requirements.
NHSD has also kept the literacy and non-formal basic education department in the loop as well as local key focal persons through whom we plan on increasing the opportunities for children to have matriculation exam completion, and then planning on increasing their opportunities towards sustainable livelihood.
This project was made possible through the benevolent donations of our GlobalGiving donors.
Thank you!
