Motivate Staff for better Productivity

Sheepcare community Centre is currently running five impactful projects with GlobalGiving, three of which are dedicated to improving the lives of children and the community at large. These projects focus on essential needs, from ensuring children have the nourishment to stay focused in class to supporting girls' education and creating safe, conducive learning environments. However, none of these initiatives can succeed without the dedication of our staff.

Our staff is the backbone of our mission. Without their commitment, no child would have a chance to stay in school, no girl would have the opportunity to complete her education, and even the best school facilities would be useless if there were no teachers to bring them to life. Unfortunately, we face a challenge: many of our staff members are demotivated due to inadequate pay, and some even miss their stipends entirely. This is why we are incredibly grateful to a devoted donor who supports five of our staff members every month. The avarage stipend of one staff is $120, therefore we appeal to Donors to help us raise monthly stipend for a number of staff they may feel convicted to.

Across our projects in Kisumu and Nairobi Counties, we employ a total of 50 staff members. As much as we want to ensure all our staff are well-compensated, our financial resources have been severely strained. Economic fluctuations, have led to soaring prices of basic commodities, including food. Since providing meals is a priority in our projects, the increase in costs has made it even harder for us to cover staff salaries with our local resources.

In light of these challenges, we appeal to you for support. Your generosity could help us pay more staff and ensure the sustainability of our projects. Every bit of help goes a long way in giving hope to needy children and providing them with a quality education.

We sincerely thank you for your ongoing support through the GlobalGiving platform. Duing the April Little by Little Campaign we managed to recieve a sum of $27512 that we used to settle the staff stipend arrears for the month of March and April, the remaining $12953 was used to pay for the stipends for the months os May, June and part of July pay, this leaves us with better part of the year to struggle to raise the staff pay. We therefore appeal for your continous support and we request you to help us reach like minded individuals within your circle to come on board and help us in this course. Your generous contribution goes a long way in sustaining the work we are doing for the community

We hope to hear from you soon and thank you again for your continued support. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these children.

With much blessings,
