This project will enables us to consistently pay a team of 52 staff members who have volunteered to transform lives of the less fortunate and vulnerable children, majority of whom were on the streets looking for ways of survival without going to school until this project came into existence.
Sheepcare Community Centre serves over 700 vulnerable children daily through education, nutrition, and holistic care. At the heart of this mission are 52 dedicated staff-who sacrifice personal gain to serve the poor. Despite their unwavering commitment, our current income-generating projects fall short of covering the monthly staff budget. This financial gap threatens staff retention, morale, and the sustainability of our impact.
When staff are well paid they would not be tempted to look for a greener pasture, hence staff retention which is necessary will be achieved. Besides, we will attract competent staff which will spur growth when our academic standards in our schools will improve.
Good staff will provide quality education to the learners enabling them to attain the highest level of education to allow them rise out of poverty and transform the poor community by improving their living standards.
