Mirai no Mori & KIWL partnership 2023

Mirai no Mori had a great Summer, with 4-night 5-day Summer Camps for more than 100 participants and exciting Rafting programs where some of the KIWL members also joined.

Thank you once again for your generous support to continue offering life-changing outdoor programs for the children we serve.

• KIWL GO-GO RUN/WALK CHALLENGE

It is an annual virtual, and in-person event All you have to do is run or walk at least 55kms in November. That's only about 1.8km or 2,400 steps a day!

• Mirai no Mori 10th Anniversary Winter Party

Please join as we celebrate our 10th anniversary at a very special event on December 7, 2023!
This milestone in Mirai no Mori history is thanks to everyone contributed along the way: sponsors, program partners, care workers from care homes, program graduates & participants, camp volunteers and many others. The KIWL Anniversary Gala was held on July 7th at Conrad Tokyo in Shiodome. On the day of the event, more than 130 riders, supporters and partners gathered to celebrate this special occasion, and an amazing amount of 2.3 million yen was raised. Staff and volunteers from Mirai no Mori were in attendance to celebrate and provide support for the gala. 

It was an impactful opening, with speeches by His Excellency The Dutch Ambassador to Japan, YouMeWe, KIWL co-founder Rob, and Mirai no Mori where we once again congratulated KIWL on its 10th anniversary. 

Afterward, all the guests enjoyed Conrad Tokyo’s wonderful dinner menu, and it was great to see them having a lovely time at each table. Under the motto of “get fit, give back,” game booths for cycling challenge, mini golf, and ring toss were set up at the venue, and guests were excitedly participating in each game in the aim of winning more raffle tickets for the winners.

The evening concluded with a live auction, silent auction, and raffle drawings, where guests had a great time winning a wide variety of prizes totaling more than 40 different amazing items.
