Dear Donors,
First of all, we would like to thank you again for your generous donations to the project "Micro - credits for Baru Island young entrepreneurs".
Thanks to all of you, to your constant support, the project has really impacted our beneficiaries’ life.
Our goal was to raise USD 10.490 to give micro-credits to 5 to 7 young low income entrepreneurs of Baru Island. Instead, thanks to you, we raised USD. 10.844 and granted 11 micro-credits to 8 beneficiaries:

Germán Fish sales and water sports $1.800.000
Víctor Seafood sales $2.500.000
Juan Snorkeling equipment rental $1.000.000
Ana Variety store $2.000.000
Damaso Restaurant and seafood sales $2.600.000
Yamileth Seafood sales $2.000.000
Víctor, Juan and Ana, received an extra credit after paying most of their initial loan, becuase of their good behavior (payment, participation in the counseling) and their business grouth.

For us in the Hernan Echavarria Foundation, it has been a great opportunity to learn from all of the beneficiaries. Their desire to succeed is an incentive for us to keep working.
We invite you to continue to work with us in order to raise more money to continue to support Baru Island entrepreneurs that have asked for micro-credits to grow their business, but this time also adults that are very interested.
