Happy Fall!
Aspen is hard at work here at Fair Haven working with clients and loving her job!
Aspen recently traveled with her handler to a conference held in Nashville, Tenessee. She engaged with attendees and provided support to those who struggled with anxiety. We also educated on the positive impact of animal assisted therapy for victims of crime.
Aspen's recent training proved she is excelling within her position as a canine advocate. She is on point and naturally engages with clients. When the door bell dings, she knows to go to work.
Aspen has been a wonderful addition to the office. As you can only imagine, working in a Rape Crisis Center is a high stress job. Many of our staff come to sit with Aspen and soak up some puppy love after a hard day. We are so grateful to have her here!
All donations that are collected go directly to providing victims of crime with the opportunity to have access to a canine advocate. We receive no other funding for this program. So, every dollar makes a difference!
Thank you for your continued support of our work here at Fair Haven.
