Provide sanitation for 934 Ugandan Students

Dear Donors, In the past four months, we thrived to achieve the goals the Matinza Sanitation project has set out to do. We are keeping the two partnership with 2 primary schools in Netherlands to raise money for the Matinza project. Thanks to the various donors and GlobalGiving for this campaign. To increase our efforts, we will continue looking for partnership with other schools to promote our walk for water event. We initiated some contacts following a meeting organised at the united nations in November 2023. We are pleased to let you know that we plan to develop this collaboration further and by so doing organizing more events in an attempt to foster greater visibility of the Matinza project as we strived to achieve our goal. We are pleased also to introduce you to our Magazine “Education and Gender differences”. In this magazine we are exploring the education system in Africa and impacts on Gender equality in Africa and in Asia, to aware and increase knowledge about this specific topic. The Magazine is planned for publication end of December 2023. Further, we are expanding the expertise and knowledge of our Right to Quality Education team. We are continuing recruitment of volunteers that have experience in managing projects, fundraising, and advertising effectively so that we can complete the project Undoubtedly, all the funds raised will go directly towards the Matinza project to ensure that the children are provided with renovated sanitary facilities as soon as possible, ensuring a safe learning environment for both children and teachers. Furthermore, we are in close contact with the stakeholders of the Matinza primary school in getting as much new data as possible. Together, we are organizing to get new pictures and material from the Matinza school and the people involved to improve fundraising advertising with a more direct look at those students and teachers that will benefit from the project. We organised two partnership with 2 primary schools in Netherlands to raise money for the Matinza project. Two events were organised in May 2023. Thanks to these events we managed to raise about 1500 euros. Thanks to the various donors and GlobalGiving for this campaign. To increase our efforts, we will continue looking for partnership with other schools to promote our walk for water event.
We are pleased to let you know that we plan to develop this collaboration further and by so doing envisage organizing more events in an attempt to foster greater visibility of the Matinza project as we strived to achieve our goal.

Further, we are expanding the expertise and knowledge of our Right to Quality Education team. We recruited volunteers that have experience in managing projects, fundraising, and advertising effectevely so that we can complete the project by next year.

You make a huge impact on the lives of many school girls and boys by providing them with proper sanitation and adequate water, by so doing combating absenteeism and preventing the lack of access to quality education.
