Dear Donors,
Thank you so much for your generous support of the Moringa Tree Project. We've planted thousands of trees since the beginning of this campaign and there has been great benefit to communities.
We have had our share of difficulties. We planted trees in the Transmara region with the Maasai area and due to the wildlife and livestock they herd, they were being eaten so we had a lot of loss. In the village where they are provided to women's groups, the women have been able to use them well and they are very enthusiastic.
The last trees were planted in the Turkana region where the people there are living in tremendous poverty. Having a tree that provides more protein than soybean meal is no doubt providing the nutrition needed where malnution affects growth and development.
Thanks again for supporting this project. For every dollar, a tree is planted!

Dear Donor,
We are excited to report that we have been able to fund another moringa project in Kenya near Meru with Community Initiatives for Rural Development (CIFORD). CIFORD is a hard working community NGO that supports sustainable development projects, including farming, capacity building, public health awareness, women's issues and leadership development.
Our other projects have had varying success. Near Lake Victoria where it grows well, the women have been harvesting and drying the leaves as a nutrititional substance. They are experimenting with all of the uses but are most interested in enhancing nutrition for the many orphans in the villages in the area.
They are very excited to start a moringa tree nursery and we are thilled to support their work. Our next project wil be in Malawi.
Thank you for your continued support.

Dear Donor,
Thank you for your support for the Moringa Tree Project. With the money raised, thousands of trees have been planted and many people affected through economic devleopment and abaitment of malnutrition for the very young. This "miracle" tree has a multitude of uses including 90 different nutrients and twice the protein as soybean meal.
Our new project will be in Migori Kenya, one of the poorest regions in the country. The climate in this region is ideal and the need is palpable. With your help, we have been albe to multiply your donations through distribution of seed and knowledge about cultivation and uses of moringa.
Thanks again for you ongoing support.
Best wishes,
Shana
Dear Supporter,
We are so pleased to report that the tree project is progressing and we have learned a lot since we began. Because of you, trees have been planted far and wide. True, some were eaten by animals, and others didn't survive for one reason or another but as a whole, thousands of trees have been planted because of you.
People are harvesting leaves, drying them and adding them to the food of children in feeding programs. The children are getting a boost of protein and nutrients not found in their daily porrage. Many children have learned about why trees are important and the benefit of moringa.
We are hoping to start the oil press program for womens' groups as we have maturing trees.
We continue to thank you for providing us with the opportunity to plant more trees and to support more programs.
Thank you,

Dear Donor,
Thank you so very much for helping to plant the wonderful Moringa Tree. The tree nurseries are thriving after a few setbacks. Its never easy when irrigation is not consistant with tender saplings and also the occaisional animals who grazes on the new tips of the trees.
The good news is that we will be eready to press the first oil in about three months.
The teachers at the schools are teaching the children sustainable farming techniques. They are developing moringa orchards with a mix of other edible fruit trees and the gardens are expanding.
We are hoping to expand the program to support more children.
Thanks again for your support.
