Operation Vasantha Progress Report Jan-Mar 2026

By Bipin Irabatti | Executive Donor Relations

BRIEF:

The Operation Vasantha program continued its impactful implementation from January to March 2026, consistently delivering activity-based learning across 50–51 centers. The program maintained its focus on bridging the educational gap by creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment for children from underserved communities.

Student participation remained strong throughout the quarter. In January, the program reached 1,970 unique students with a total exposure of 19,746. In February, 1,538 unique students participated, generating 24,457 exposures. The program further expanded in March to 51 centers, maintaining 1,970 unique students and achieving a significantly higher exposure of 46,184.

Key highlights of the quarter included large-scale implementation of the Anjani program across all centers, regular cross-culture interactions (CCL/CCI), increased integration of digital learning tools such as Apnipatasala systems, Alexa devices, and We-Learn tablets, and continuous capacity-building efforts through volunteer trainings and virtual meetings. Special events like Republic Day, National Science Day, and Women’s Day were also actively celebrated, enhancing student engagement.

DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED:

During this quarter, daily and weekly activities continued to focus on experiential learning, digital integration, volunteer engagement, and community participation.

Educational delivery remained consistent across all centers, with students actively participating in hands-on learning activities, science-based experiments, and creative exercises. The program ensured regular sessions across working days, maintaining continuity in learning.

Digital learning tools played a significant role in enhancing student engagement. Apnipatasala systems were actively utilized in multiple centers, with regular sessions conducted, especially on scheduled days. Alexa devices were used by students in centers like Dasamanapalli and Yamaganipalli to encourage curiosity-driven learning through questioning. The use of We-Learn tablets increased significantly, reaching up to 20 centers by March, enabling access to structured digital content.

Community engagement remained a strong component of the program. The Anjani program was conducted across all centers multiple times during the quarter, involving parents and community members. Feedback from parents was actively collected, strengthening the connection between centers and local communities.

Cross-Culture Learning (CCL/CCI) activities were regularly conducted between different centers such as Dasamanapalli–Chimpangallu, Salchinthalapalli–Kowshiganipalli, Mittor–Chimpangallu, and others. These interactions helped students exchange ideas, improve communication, and gain exposure to different learning environments.

Volunteer capacity building was prioritized through continuous training and engagement. Physical training sessions were conducted at the Agastya campus, and online training sessions were organized for Apnipatasala centers. Volunteers were also supported through regular virtual meetings to review activities, improve reporting practices, and enhance session quality.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS & EVENTS:

The quarter witnessed multiple events, visits, and celebrations that strengthened stakeholder engagement and student participation.

National celebrations were conducted across all centers, including Republic Day on January 26 and National Science Day in February. Women’s Day was also celebrated in March at Gudupallicolony center, promoting awareness and participation among students.

The Anjani program was a major highlight, conducted across all centers in January, February, and March, with active participation from parents and community members. In several instances, materials and books were also distributed during these programs.

Several cross-culture interaction sessions were conducted between centers throughout the quarter, encouraging peer learning and collaboration among students.

Multiple stakeholder visits were recorded, including visits by internal leaders, HR representatives, and external teams such as the Mumbai team and Chennai team. These visits included observation of sessions, interaction with students, and participation in activities.

Campus-based engagement also took place, including volunteer trainings and interactive sessions at the Agastya campus. Volunteers also participated in discussions on improving digital content utilization and activity delivery.

FEEDBACK:

Volunteer engagement and communication were consistently maintained through regular virtual and physical meetings.

Multiple virtual meetings were conducted across the quarter (January, February, and March), ensuring continuous interaction with volunteers and instructors. These sessions focused on reviewing program implementation, improving digital tool usage, and addressing operational challenges.

Key discussion points included:

  • Effective utilization of Apnipatasala systems and We-Learn content
  • Encouraging students to use Alexa devices for inquiry-based learning
  • Conducting cross-culture interactions between centers
  • Maintaining attendance and reporting through digital platforms
  • Strengthening delivery of Anjani and community engagement activities

Additionally, training sessions at the Agastya campus provided hands-on guidance to volunteers, improving their facilitation skills and confidence in delivering activities.

CONCLUSION:

Operation Vasantha demonstrated strong performance and consistent growth during the January to March 2026 period. The program successfully maintained its presence across 50–51 centers, ensuring high student participation and significantly increasing total exposures, particularly in March.

The integration of digital tools such as Apnipatasala systems, Alexa devices, and We-Learn tablets enhanced the overall learning experience, while community-driven initiatives like the Anjani program strengthened local engagement.

Regular trainings, virtual meetings, and cross-culture interactions contributed to improving volunteer effectiveness and student exposure. Moving forward, continued focus on optimizing digital resource utilization, strengthening community participation, and scaling cross-center collaborations will further enhance the program’s impact.
