This project will support sustainable solutions addressing No Poverty, Zero Hunger and Quality Education. We partner with locally-led NGOs in East and West Africa, whose initiatives empower households to escape extreme poverty, ensures access to nutritious meals and supports their children's education. The project benefits 11,150 people.
Locally-led non-profits and the people involved often have the best solutions at hand to address social injustices like extreme poverty, hunger, and lack of quality education. Unfortunately, only 2% of the global aid budget directly reaches locally-led NGOs who have minimal decision making power on aid budget. Donating directly to these projects means that 11,150 people living in extreme poverty get help faster and cheaper.
Directly donating to these projects of African nonprofits, provides nutritious meals, quality education to the children of the project participants, and a stable income to improve their living standards, slowly getting out of extreme poverty. Besides, iMPACT direct supports these nonprofits for three years through trainings, sharing expertise and matchmaking to become the best impact-makers in their region.
11,150 family members benefit from increased income, access to nutritious food and children access quality education. Moreso, the project participants acquire vocational skills in different trades that they can leverage to uplift their lives.
