Lift 11,150 lives out of extreme poverty in Africa

We are pleased to share exciting progress and milestones as our initiatives continue to advance in East and West Africa. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have now raised funds which is enabling us to expand and strengthen our efforts to empower vulnerable communities.

Key Achievements:

Brewaniase Vocational Training Centre, Ghana:
Construction is fully underway, and we are happy to report that the foundation is currently being laid. The project is progressing smoothly, and we look forward to completing the center soon, providing essential skills training to youth and women in the region.

Beauty and Hairdressing Skills, Kenya and Tanzania:
The training for 25 young women and girls in both Kenya and Tanzania has been successfully completed. They are now earning sustainable incomes through their new skills, contributing to their families' well-being and independence.

Phase 2 of the Youth Employment Centre, Ghana:
Preparations are also underway for the second phase of construction at the Youth Employment Centre in Ghana. We are proud to share that the project is approximately 70% complete and on track for rapid completion. Our goal is to finish this phase promptly and get the center fully operational to serve more youth with vocational training and employment opportunities.

Although we have not raised additional funds on the GlobalGiving platform since our initial campaign, we are pleased to share that our ongoing projects are progressing well thanks to support from various grants and partnerships. Our dedicated NGOs continue to implement impactful initiatives that are transforming lives in East and West Africa.

Current Projects and Achievements:

• Teen Mothers’ Skills Training in Morogoro, Tanzania:

Twenty teen mothers are currently undergoing training in detergent making, beauty, and hairdressing. These skills are helping them achieve financial stability and independence. Building on this success, each subsequent year, an additional 40 young women will be empowered through our multi-purpose training salon, further expanding opportunities for youth in the region.

• Preparations for Brewaniase Vocational Training Centre, Ghana:

We are in the final stages of planning and preparations to begin construction of the Brewaniase Vocational Training Centre. Once completed, the center will equip 24 girls (up to 20 years old) with dressmaking and hairdressing skills, and provide essential training to 100 youth with other trades. This initiative aims to tackle youth unemployment and stimulate economic growth in Nkwanta.

• Beauty and Hairdressing Skills in Sachangwan, Kenya:

Five young women and girls are currently acquiring beauty therapy and hairdressing skills in Sachangwan division. These skills will enable them to establish their own beauty shops, ensuring a sustainable income and greater economic independence.
