Government is partially opening up schools, been closed almost for a year now due to Covid 19 pandemic. The shutdown has come with a lot of new challenges in our communities, one of which is the vice of teenage pregnancy. Girls under our education sponsorship program in secondary and primary school , some have become pregnant of which is so heart breaking but not willing to give up on them. This is national wide challenges where by its estimated that 25% of girls between 12 to 19 years in both primary and secondary schools won’t be able to return to school because they will be mothers.

Candidates and semi-candidate have already resumed school and for both secondary and primary in our education program at Grace Orphanage School are already back at school. The pandemic has brought about changes in academic year, according to the ministry of education other students are expected to start between March and June 2021.

Grace Orphanage School is open and running now and thanks to your continued support. Your donations are enabling day to day smooth running of the orphanage, feeding, health and basic necessities for the children. Please we request you to become a month recurring donor to any of our projects to help the orphanage have stable flow of income. The pandemic and political environment have negatively impacted both our operations and communities we work with, as many of members are jobless and its a big challenge to us as an organization.

We put you in our prayers as this pandemic passes. Keep Safe!
