Dear Friend of Grace Orphanage school,

As it's a trying moment for the entire world, it's a challenging time for Grace Orphanage, school closed on 20 March 2020 due to Convid-19 pandemic. With the entire country under lockdown with both no public or private transport. It's been very difficult to run any project activities within the past three months.

We are so humbled and grateful for your continued support, with water - borehole drilled last year at the orphanage compound, which is a blessing to us during this dry season and pandemic time, food in the garden, has sustained the orphanage for the first month of lockdown. but this would not be possible with out your continued support.

We have adopted e-learning for the children to make them academically active and to ensure they stay safe rather than roaming in the community which in the past caused alot  of teenageegnancy.

We have trained children accommodated at the school compound on preventing the spread of Convid-19, they are adopting to new life style. Washing hands, not touching soft parts like nose, mouth with out washing hands with soap and social distance.

With the ease with the lockdown in Uganda we are hoping to extend education assistance to children far away from Nanga Village to keep them academically active as well as following guidelines not to spread or contract the virus. We are a moving the extra mile to reach out to the children because we want to avoid teenage pregnancy during this pandemic time and just because we are not sure of the schools reopening.

We are highly predicting many changes in the structure of Ugandan education system. During this time  we are readjusting our service delivers as we are becoming more innovative in e-learning, DVD/TVself training and internet self learning.

Thanks so much for your continued support.

Warm regards
