LEND has spent the past three months supporting the small business community in Evanston through zero-interest, flexible repayment microloans and pro-bono consulting. Small businesses have been struggling in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many have not received access to much-needed programs such as PPP and EIDL, and LEND has worked to partially fill that gap for businesses in Evanston.
We have partnered with the City of Evanston to distribute $100,000 to local businesses. We have also focused on our own fundraising in order to support these efforts with the City. Evanston is a resilient city filled with many successful businesses and we will continue to support them in the coming months. These are challenging times for all of us, but LEND has always believed in the power of community. We remain Evanston strong!
