NEW Learning Center for children in poverty Mexico

During this period, we are proud to announce the organization of the fourth golf tournament, dedicated to supporting the construction of the new Mayama center. We anticipate the participation of 132 individuals who, through their active engagement, will contribute the necessary resources to ensure the successful completion of this contemporary infrastructure. We aim to have it finalized by 2024, with the potential to benefit over 250 girls and boys each year.

The upcoming Mayama day center will serve as our new home—a place to manifest our mission. It will also stand as a testament to the necessity of shifting public policies concerning children in Mexico. This shift entails adopting a broader and more systemic approach to interventions designed for both girls and boys, who are navigating a challenging environment that can impede their personal development and impact their communities.

This construction project, spanning 747.28 square meters, will provide us with a solid foundation to maintain our position as a leading organization dedicated to the development and rights of girls and boys in the State of Jalisco. The Mayama day center will serve as our institution's headquarters and will serve as a catalyst for the expansion of the Mayama Educational Model to other regions in the country. These regions often face conditions of poverty, exclusion, and violence that affect children and their families.

We are making progress in gathering more support to make the construction of the New Mayama Center, which will cover an area of 747.28 m2, a reality. The New Center will directly benefit 700 people, including children and families, every four years. 

The New Center includes the construction of welcoming classrooms to promote a cozy, inclusive, and conducive learning environment. These classrooms have been designed taking into consideration pleasant colors and decoration that are attractive and stimulating for the children, as well as appropriate lighting to make the most of natural light, which facilitates concentration and the learning process for the children. The construction of the New Mayama Center involves transforming the quality of life for children and families who face challenging environments.
