We are pleased to share with all our partners and donors that we are one step away from completing and launching our Mayama Community Center. We have now begun the finishing phase of the construction, which includes plastering and installing floors, painting the walls, installing windows, lighting fixtures, protective grills, and landscaping.
To celebrate these advances, on Thursday, July 4th, 2024, we planted a ceiba tree in the central courtyard with a group of children, families, and the Mayama educational team and collaborators. We named it the Tree of Life, symbolizing all the good wishes for the growth and development of our institution.
We will soon invite you to join us for the opening. Thank you for being a part of this transformation.
