Maya's Dream Come True...
Maya (Name Changed), 31, of the small village is a married woman. Maya was a domestic working woman. After being deprived of education in childhood, Maya's parents did not teach her further, after which Maya started busy in household works. Maya had a strong desire to learn the beauty parlor course but due to the high fees of this skill, she could not learn. Maya's parents got Maya married. After marriage, Maya again got busy with household work and Maya's dream remained unfulfilled.
One day Maya came to know that free vocational education training of Beautician is going to be organized by RSKS organization in village. Maya asks her husband and mother-in-law's permission to go to training. Maya's husband flatly refused to go for training but Maya's mother-in-law supported Maya and gave her permission to go. Maya took two months of free beauty parlor training in which Maya learned the nuances of eyebrows, wax, mehndi, makeup, manicure, pedicure, bridal makeup, haircutting etc. During training, Maya became good at applying mehndi, which led her to take orders for mehndi at the weddings.
After training, Maya works at home. Neighborhood women started approaching to Maya for making eyebrows, hair-cuts, waxes etc which led to Maya's income. Maya's unfulfilled dream came true and Maya's mother-in-law contributed to it. Maya soon opened her own beauty parlour, which was inaugurated by Maya's mother-in-law. Now Maya has her own beauty parlour and Maya has become self-sufficient. Maya is busy in the beauty parlour throughout the day and earns Rs. 6000 to Rs. 8000 per month. Maya's unfinished dream was fulfilled in which there is donor’s invaluable contribution.

A Story of small impact from the ground......
My name is Rubina (Name Changed) and I am 27 years old. I live in the remote village. I am from a Traditional typical community and live in a joint family. The situation of our family is very pathetic that is why I had desire to do my own employment. But women employment is banned in our community. I could not do anything even if I wanted to. I was looking for skills but it also needed money.
The RSKS organization completed my hunt for talent. Survey conducted for bag making training by RSKS organization in our village. Year 2020 In this training, I also registered my name, I got four months free bag making training by RSKS organization. The medium of training was practical and theoretical, so I learned how to do it easily. During the training, I learned to sew bags, purses, designer hand purses, school bags, ladies purses etc. of jute, reggae, flax, cloth etc. All the girls supported me in the training which made it easier for me to take training. During the training EDP, life skill, capacity building, leadership training was organized which boosted my confidence. The exhibition was organized at the end of the training, in which our handmade bags were presented this gave me the knowledge of marketing.
After training, I sit at home and sew bags and I get bag orders from nearby women, which helped me in earning my income. At the time of lockdown, orders were made to sew masks by RSKS organization and various other organizations. In lockdown, I got an order for sewing 7500 masks from which I got income. Now from the market also, I get orders for sewing bags. Thus I earn 5000 to 7000 rupees per month. Now I support household income and expenses too. I have become self-sufficient today. The entire credit goes to the team for which I thank the RSKS organization.

In terms of employment, the rural area has seen a differentiation than the urban one. Employment resources in the village are limited. In this situation, rural women and girls face more problems. These women are unable to do any employment even after wanting and they do not have the necessary skills for self-employment. Keeping an eye on these problems, skill development training was being conducted by the RSKS organization in rural areas. To make women self-reliant, the organization is conducting garment making and beauty parlor training in remote villages.
The Garment Making and Beauty Parlor training conducted by the RSKS organization is of two months in which women and young girls are being taught skill knowledge of sewing and beauty parlor. All the women are learning by coming to regular training. In this context, life skill training was imparted to teach life skills to women. Life skills were taught to women through activities. This training increased the confidence of women. At the same time, women were told the success stories of successful entrepreneurs, which encouraged them. After this training, the women were confident and ready to take steps towards self-employment.
After training, the desire of self-employment was seen in most of the women and girls, for which the organization will make every effort. After the life skill training, now women and girls are training with positive energy. After training, women are practicing at home. This is also a part of life skills knowledge. In future, EDP, job fair and exhibition will be organized by the organization in training, which will provide marketing and employment opportunities to these women. EDP training is essential for a woman to become a successful entrepreneur and to increase marketing knowledge, haat market will be put in place. They will get marketing knowledge. The aim of the organization is that women of rural areas should become self-sufficient and they can get the means of employment sitting at home. The RSKS organization is committed to this task.

Meet with Idol Maker Bindiya.
My name is Bindiya (Name Changed) and I am 59 years old. I live with my family with my husband and five children. The main business of our family is idol making. I work with my husband and children to make different types of idols. We live in a hut which is on the roadside. The work of the idol is more on the festival, that is, we earn only during the festival season, but due to Corona epidemic, the market has faded this year. No festival was made this year, which did not sell our idol. All the sculptures made by us remained intact and they did not earn me any income. My family and I had to face the problem of livelihood.
In the meantime, a helping hand was extended by the RSKS organization. The RSKS organization surveyed artists like us who are struggling with food ration. My name was also taken in it. Afterwards I got a ration food kit and hygiene kit by the RSKS organization. When I got a ration food kit in my hand, happiness tears came in my eyes. This ration kit contained flour, rice, lentils, spices, soybeans, salt, oil, soap, etc. and the hygiene kit contained masks, sanitizers, handkerchiefs, etc.
This ration food kit will complete my family's food supply for up to one month. On the day of the ration distribution, my family and I ate belly full & had tension free sleep. Now, I am free from fear and anxiety and started working on the idol building. I hope that the corona period ends soon and everything goes as before so that our idol can be sold and we can earn some money. I give loving blessing to the RSKS organization, with the help of which me and my family got a lot of food.
