TOGETHER, WE ARE PROTECTING GIRLS' FUTURES

By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader

Behind every statistic is a girl with hopes, dreams, and ambitions. Yet many girls continue to face barriers that prevent them from achieving their full potential. Lack of menstrual hygiene supplies, persistent stigma, and limited reproductive health education remain major obstacles to school attendance and academic success.

Because of your generosity, these barriers are being removed one girl at a time.

This quarter, we reached vulnerable girls with menstrual hygiene kits, health education, and mentorship support designed to keep them safe, healthy, and engaged in school. These interventions have become even more critical as reductions in youth outreach funding leave many communities with fewer resources to support adolescents.

Girls participating in the project reported greater confidence managing their menstrual health and increased motivation to continue their education. Teachers observed fewer absences and stronger classroom participation among supported students.

One girl shared that receiving support gave her renewed hope that she could complete her education and pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. Stories like hers remind us why this work matters.

Your support is doing more than providing supplies—it is protecting futures, expanding opportunities, and helping girls break free from cycles of poverty and inequality.

Thank you for standing with these courageous young women. Together, we are building a future where every girl has the chance to learn, thrive, and succeed.
