Keep 200 Ugandan Girls in School

For many girls in rural Uganda, education is their greatest hope for escaping poverty. Yet each month, countless girls miss classes because they lack access to basic menstrual hygiene supplies. What may seem like a small challenge can quickly become a major obstacle, leading to poor academic performance, loss of confidence, and eventual school dropout.

Thanks to your generosity, vulnerable girls are receiving the support they need to remain in school and continue building brighter futures. During this reporting period, we distributed menstrual hygiene kits, facilitated reproductive health education sessions, and strengthened mentorship programs that provide girls with guidance and encouragement.

The need has become even more urgent as funding reductions have limited the availability of youth-friendly services in many communities. For some girls, our project is now one of the few remaining sources of support and accurate health information.

One beneficiary shared that before joining the program, she often missed school and struggled to keep up with lessons. Today, she attends regularly and dreams of becoming a teacher who will inspire other girls to pursue their education.
