HOPE IN A HYGIENE KIT, CONFIDENCE IN EVERY CLASSRO

By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader

A simple hygiene kit can make an extraordinary difference in a girl's life. For many vulnerable students, access to menstrual supplies means the difference between attending school and staying home. It means participating in exams, joining classroom discussions, and pursuing dreams without interruption.

Thanks to your continued support, we provided menstrual hygiene kits and reproductive health education to girls who face daily challenges linked to poverty, stigma, and limited access to health information.

This reporting period came during a time of increasing need. Reduced support for adolescent health programs has left many communities with fewer services available to guide and protect young people. As these gaps grow, donor-funded initiatives are becoming more important than ever.

Girls participating in the project shared that they feel more confident, informed, and empowered to remain in school. Teachers have observed improved attendance and increased engagement among beneficiaries.

Beyond the immediate benefits, these interventions are helping girls develop the confidence and resilience needed to navigate future challenges. Education remains one of the most effective pathways out of poverty, and your support is helping keep that pathway open.

Thank you for standing with girls who refuse to give up on their dreams. Because of your generosity, hope is growing, confidence is rising, and futures are becoming brighter.
