Project Report | Dec 2, 2025
BAZNAS has been sending emergency aid

By Rendy | Project Admin

BAZNAS has been on the ground since the first day of the flash floods in Sumatra. We set up tents and public kitchens and distributed basic aid to survivors. Not only that, BAZNAS also established emergency health services in the field to minimise the impact and spread of disease in temporary shelters. Please check this link to see our situation reports.

The National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of Indonesia, through BAZNAS Disaster Response (BTB), has set up a public kitchen in 2x11 Kayutanam Subdistrict, Padang Pariaman Regency, as a quick response to help residents affected by floods and landslides that have hit the area.

BAZNAS RI, together with BAZNAS Padang Pariaman Regency, immediately operated the public kitchen and distributed ready-to-eat meals. A total of 1,500 packets of rice were distributed to refugees and affected residents around 2x11 Kayutanam Subdistrict.
