Heavy rains and flash floods struck Denpasar and parts of Badung (Bali), displacing families and damaging homes, markets and infrastructure. BAZNAS rapidly deployed its Disaster Response teams to conduct evacuations, establish emergency shelters and set up public kitchens, while distributing clean water, hygiene and infant-care kits, blankets and other essential items. Teams also carried out community clean-up and disinfection in affected markets and neighbourhoods to reduce health risks and restore basic services.
BAZNAS are launching appeal to scale those life-saving activities: funds have used immediately to expand public kitchen operations (food, fuel, cooks and packaging), provide clean water and sanitation supplies, deliver emergency shelter kits (tarpaulins, mats, blankets), and support debris removal and volunteer protection equipment.
