We have finished The Hatthorn Project. Please view the final walk-thru video and the Hatthorn's Testimonial video.

This is the final report for this project.

Alot of hard work was put into this project and thanks to you we were able to complete the project.

The Hatthorn's Thank You personally in their testimonial video

Although we are closing this project...we still need your help with other Veterans and their families that need shelter and food!

Example...a family of 4 living in a tent, One year old and 4 year old, mother's Veteran's pension stiped from her for no reason. She's fighting to get it back. Husband is desperately searching for work and food for the family.

Please donate to save more people.

God Bless!

Cheryl Jones

The Hatthorn's Beautiful Kitchen

The love of your kind donations shines through in the beauty of the workmanship displayed in the Hatthorn's home.

Here you have a Desert Storm Veteran that was happy with his life. Married to Tiana for many years and raising their 14 year old daughter. A proud Veteran that helps other Veterans as often as possible. Then in August of 2017 his whole life was devastated by Hurricane Harvey's flooding. The water rushed in through the garage, then the front and back door. There was no stopping it. Just a couple hours later and the whole house had a foot of water in it. Throughout the night the Hatthorn's worked hard to raised everything they could above 2 feet.

They were only able to save their dogs, cats, beds, clothing, dry food and washing machine. Everything was water logged. They salvaged as much as they could but almost all of it was unsalvageable.

A few months before the Hatthorn's had lost their flood insurance because the insurance company suddenly raised their insurance premium to twice what it was and only gave him 30 days to make the full year payment. Gordon was unable to make that payment in time, therefore, his flood insurance was cancelled.

Throughout the restoration of the Hatthorn's house, they have lived in their home. Gordon continues to work and Amelia continues to go to school and play softball. Their family and friends did the demolition of the inside of their home. Then Tiana was tasked with dealing with all the construction and scheduling of games with Amelia, as well as finding the best prices for materials needed during construction. It has been a long hard road for the Hatthorn's. Your help has given them their life back...the Hatthorn's now live a normal life in a beautiful home that you helped restore!

Tiana said "I am now living in my dream home! We never could have had such a beautiful home without your help, Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Bless You!"

The videos to view begins with the final walk-thru of the Hatthorn's home and finishes with a heartfelt Thank You video from Gordon, Tiana and Amelia!

Almost done with the "Hatthorn Project"!

The bathrooms are done. All the bedrooms are done. Hallways are done. Living Room is done. The Family Room is done. And we are working on the kitchen and dining room.

The Hatthorn home is turning out to be a beautiful home after being flooded during Hurricane Harvey.

The renovation of the home has taken 1 year and 7 months so far. However, the craftmanship is superb!

Check out the pictures to see how your donation was used. Also check out the pictures in my previous reports to see all the work that has been done so far.

After the completion of the :Hatthorn Project", I will post a YouTube link for you to go to to see the final video and Gordon, Tiana and Amelia's testimonial.

Please stay tuned for our final update on the "Hatthorn Project"!

Thank you for your kind donations to help a Veteran in need. The Hatthorn's Hurricane Harvey ravaged home is almost complete. We never could have done this without your help.

Please make a donation (and share with your family and friends) to help the Hatthorn's complete the kitchen, dining room and replace their water logged furniture.

God bless you!

Hello all you beautiful people!

I hope that you are all doing very well.

We have gotten a lot of work done on the Hatthorn's home. Here's my update.

Walls have been primed, textured and painted. Beautiful ceramic tile has been laid throughout the home. Walls have been moved in the living room and kitchen. Concrete poured. New walls have been constructed in the kitchen and living room. Bathrooms both have new tile showers and new cabinets have been installed. The family/game room walls have been replaced. All new lighting fixtures have been hung throughout the home. Kitchen cabinets are ready to be delivered and installed. This will complete all repairs on the Hatthorn's home.

We are almost finished but I need your help to get the kitchen cabinets delivered and installed. We can't do it without you. Your donations have gotten us this far. We are so close to completion. Can you see it in your heart to give one more time to help us finish the Hatthorn's home? I will post a final video of the Hatthorn's beautiful home and their testimonial video once it is completed. Please give today to help us finish the "Hatthorn Project".

Thank you so much and God Bless!

Cheryl

Your donations got the repairs to this point...

The Hatthorn's home was gutted and all debris was removed from inside the home.

The kitchen and bathroom cabinets have been removed. No cooking will be done in this kitchen until it's repaired.

The electrical wiring and boxes were replaced to bring the house back up to code. You can rest assured that there will be no electrical fires in this home.

All the drywall was replaced on the walls and ceilings throughout the Hatthorn's home. All mudding, tapping and floating was completed.

Beautiful ceramic floor tile, that looks like wood, was laid down throughout the home.

Then the walls were primed and painted. After that, the ceiling lights and base boards were mounted.

Now we need to replace the kitchen and bathroom cabinets.

With your continued donations we can finish the Hatthorn's home repairs. Please give to complete the repairs.
