Gordon and his family are just 1 family in a small neighborhood in south Texas that is living in their once water logged, now tattered home. There are over 20 families in this neighborhood that need help repairing their homes. When we met Gordon we recorded this video. This is when we found out that he is a Desert Storm Veteran and the local postman. Living a simple life in a small town in Texas. A neighborhood devastated by mother nature that needs your help to repair their homes.
Hurricane Harvey ravaged south Texas leaving a wake of destruction in it's path. Many homeowner's had no flood insurance. Average cost of repairs per home is $55,000. The majority of these homeowner's are low income households that had no savings and are unable to make the repairs to their homes. Local churches and nonprofits have been overwhelmed by the needs of their neighbors and asked for more nonprofits to help.
We are supplying building materials and qualified personnel for installations, as well as replacement appliances. By getting these costs down, we are able to restore more homes. With your continued support we could restore whole neighborhoods.
