Over the past few months, your donations have helped provide essential items such as food, clothing, fuel, and other basic necessities to families facing hardship. At a time when many are struggling with uncertainty, your kindness is helping bring stability, comfort, and hope.
In Ukraine, the war continues to affect everyday life, especially for children. Yet thanks to your support, children are finding moments of joy, creativity, and healing through summer activities, the Refugee Camp Art Club, and programmes run by our partners.
At Children's Hearts Summer Camps, children from vulnerable and at-risk families are making new friends, building confidence, and rediscovering the joy of childhood. For some, it is the first time in a long while that they feel safe, included, and able to look to the future with hope. Through shared experiences, encouragement, and care, these camps are helping children create happy memories and regain confidence in themselves.
Little Lighthouse continues to be a source of hope for vulnerable children and families, providing essential supplies alongside creative workshops and therapeutic support. Through art, play, and counselling, children are finding safe ways to express their emotions, heal from difficult experiences, and rebuild their confidence.
While New Beginnings continues to support teenagers leaving orphanage care as they take their first steps towards independent living, it also provides a loving foster family home for vulnerable children. Through care, guidance, and practical support, young people are given hope and the opportunity to build brighter futures.
In Moldova, our partner Tony Hawks Centre recently celebrated an extraordinary milestone: 25 years of supporting children with disabilities and vulnerable families. Their dedication has transformed countless lives and continues to provide hope to families who often have nowhere else to turn. Family Love continues to support families in need, providing essential support parcels and psychological support for both children and parents. Their care helps families navigate difficult times with greater hope and resilience.
Meanwhile, at Esther House, children are enjoying a summer filled with learning, creativity, friendship, and fun activities. These experiences help build confidence, encourage personal growth, and create precious childhood memories.
Across all of these projects, one message shines through: hope changes lives.
A warm meal, a support parcel, a therapy session, a new friendship, or simply having someone who cares can make an enormous difference to a child or family facing hardship. These moments may seem small, but they can be life-changing.
None of this would be possible without you.
