Your help does much more than what you could imagine!
Diya is approximately 2 years old. Her father does not stay with her. Her mother left Diya with a neighbor woman so that she could go to work. As told by the neighbor woman, Diya’s mother stopped coming back and is not traceable now. When an NGO found the child, she was critically ill and was highly malnourished. She was brought to Asharan for care and protection. She had to be hospitalized immediately. She had to have blood transfusion, IV antibiotics etc. to rescue her from death due to starvation. We hope that Diya (meaning 'lamp' ) would start shining again as India celebrates the festival of lights..
They had another chance to start their life all over again because of your help.
Thank you for reaching out to these children. Please don't hesitate to send in your share of support, so that all the children that come to Asharan could re- live their childhood and look at the future with joy and hope.
