POST FOR DAMIAN!
The little Damian will be on October 25th - 10 years old, he is now already many months in the hospice and the last days, maybe weeks have dawned. Unfortunately, he cann't eat, based by his health condition. Damian wishes that many people are thinking of him on his birthday and maybe they can write a postcard. The result was heart-moving. Damian received 152 postcards.
TRAIN OF THE FUTURE.
On October 2nd we started a great new project. On a train journey from Halle to Wernigerode we informed the passengers. Informed about cancer, about our work in our organization for children with cancer and how each one can help.
Helping can be easy. Mouth open and cotton buds in. With this typing later suitable bone marrow donors can be found.
FAMILY #200 WAS OUR GUEST
Great anniversary at the "Bernstein See" (Amber Lake). The Mahler family from the Erzgebirge (southern part of Germany) is now our 200th family in our recreational complex am Bernsteinsee. Our chairtman Avery visited the family and, as a surprise, organized a pirate meal in the lake restaurant. We wish the family much strength and all the best and look forward to the next 200th families.
