Strong support fo the construction of the fence
Strong support fo the construction of the fence

A new fence is needed (March/April 2019) - The outdoor area of our "Haus am Bernsteinsee" has increased by a small piece of forest and will be transformed in near future into an active playground where the children can play and relax. For the better protection of this specific area a new fence was needed. We were aligned about to finsih this work before Easter holidays and as long the temperatures are above 5°Celsius.

The following work was part of this task: dismantle and reassemble the fence elements, lifting holes for the new fence posts, cast in the posts, removing several roots and we cut down the trees and much much more.Based by adverse weather conditions, we were able to do most of the planned work until dusk. Exactly one week later, we completed the remaining work in another appointment.

Students donate 250 € (April 2019) - At the end of last week, the class 5a of the loval country school Grovesmühle  handed over a large part of their Christmas market revenue to our Verein für krebskranke Kinder Harz e.V. (Association for children with cancer, Harz e.V.). The donation of this 250 € will be used completelyfor projects of the association, to support children with cancer and their relatives.

We are so touched to get this donation from children for children and can't say in words what we feel.Thank you so much kids! Well done!

Buy furniture & help children (May 2019) - The furniture store "Porta" supported us in a very special way. On this day (May, 7th), the furniture store PORTA donates 10% of the daily turnover to our association. The company has also announced this campaign in its advertising to generate as many customers and thus donations and from this perspective it was not only a great promotion to generate donations, but also a good advertisement for our association.

Local companies who take responsibility and are ready to assist us. Thanks Porta!
