We are thrilled to share good new with you. This new year is already bringing new opportunities: new jobs, new trainings, new seminars for young people who live in vulnerable contexts.
In December 2022 we finished the implementation of our latest project " Conectando Oportunidades" in which more than 180 youngsters have participated. Seminars with University accredation, Workshops with the RRHH team of Unilver, Mentoring, Webinars, and real job opportunities were offered to the participants. Many of them have already starting working and continue with the mentoring with our proffesionals to ensure a safe and good onboarding.
We are planning a second implementation of Conectando Oportunidaes, one more time in alliance with the Municipio of Pilar, as this partnership was a key point to the project. We are hoping to start this second implementation in April 2023. We are working now in expanding the network of our Ecosystem.

We are thrilled to share with you good news. Finally, after a long waiting time due to the years of the pandemic, we are able to start the implementation of Conectando Oportunidades.
This project will give technical and subjetive tools to increase the possibilities of full employment to 60 young people who are in a situation of social vulnerability.
We will work with youngsters from the Partido de Pilar in Buenos Aires Province, who wil receive training for 2 months. The objetive is to produce a full inclusion thourgh a formal job that help the youngsters to establish new social bonds and expand their life potencial.
The workshops will take place during October and November. All the participants will be connected with the companies that area settled in the PArque Industrial Pilar, with which we have stablished, from Fundación Oportunidad a collaborative partnership in order to intervene in the unemployemt of the young people from that geografical area.

Two difficult years have passed and now in 2022 we continue our work in our communities. The pandemic has affected globally the working market, and with that in mind, our new project "An employability ecosystem" wants to help specially de young people.
Working, besides being a source of income, also deepens social bonds. That´s why we want to offer real learning oportunities for young people who live in complex life contexts, who show commitment and a genuine desire of personal development.
Our goal is to have an impact through training in subjective and technical areas, promoting job placement wih paid training practices and formal work.

After almost two years of pandemic, we are happy to share that we are back in our communities.
Bridges is the name of our new youth & employability project.
We are building an innovative program that promotes the inclusion of young people in situations of social vulnerability. How? Through 3 key instances: learning process + tutorials + labor intermediation managers.
Our challenge: Establish an effective bridge between young people and training, education and job opportunities.
Our task is to train and accompany young people in the process of designing and implementing an occupational training project, which seeks to increase opportunities for genuine and sustainable social inclusion.
THE PROGRAM IN 4 POINTS!
60 Young people between 18 and 24 years old.
Each young person who enters the Program will be immersed in a learning process through work meetings and group reflection + individual tutorials + labor intermediation agencies.
The program is articulated and synergized from these three instances. Tutor and Insertion Manager, They are two key figures serving two distinctive spheres. The tutor intervenes in the subjective aspects to transform the powers into effective tools. The Insertion Manager, for its part, facilitates and plans the link between the young person and the different possible insertion spaces (training, occupational, work, educational, etc.)
3. HOW LONG?
The Program starts in April (for the initial tasks of articulation with areas of Government and design of calls) and extends until its full implementation.
From FOP, 4 groups of 15 young people each are formed. Each group will be assigned a responsible Tutor. The Insertion Manager works with the young people and, in a continuous and articulated way, with the Tutors. Tutor and Insertion Manager accompany young people from the beginning of the program to its end,
The FOP carries out a Learning Process that is made up of 9 meetings grouped into 3 thematic blocks: Discovering my project, Working on my project, My project in Action. Each of the 9 meetings lasts 3 hours. Additionally, each Tutor establishes a singular and individual accompaniment plan with each of the members of his tutoring group. Simultaneously, the Insertion Manager, designs a training / occupational / labor mediation plan tailored to each young person. Tutor and Manager accompany, in situ, the application / integration / selection / onboarding processes that each young person starts.

A new wave of coronavirus is hitting Argentina. In the last weeks, the goverment has impossed new restrictions and a new full lockdown is now taking place. These new measures obliged us to put all our social projects on hold.
We hope in a new report we could be able to bring you better news. By now, our priority is the safety and protection of the communities where we develop our projects as well as the safety of the professional team that work in the field.
The executive board of Fundación Oportunidad is absoluty commited to develop the projects in our full capacity as soon as the restrictions are lifted and the context makes it possible.
