Greetings from Tamar Center!
Today we just wanted to let you know that we started our vocational Training Program for women that want to leave prostitution behind last Friday. For the next three months, the students will learn the basics of Hairdressing, Sewing, Baking, Cooking and Jewelry/Card making. They will also receive counseling and will receive life training and help to leave the past behind so that they can start into a new life. The last lady joined us only on Friday - just before the training started. We had a great evening with lots of fun, some nice games/dances, good food and some speeches. Saturday, we than went to the beach with the whole Tamar Family in order to get to know the new students. There are a number of pictures attached, so I hope that you will enjoy them. We are very happy for every woman that leaves the bars behind!
Thank you for you continued support - without it we would not be able to help these women!
