Let's Help Children with Cancer in Ghana

Dear Supporters,

Childhood cancer can place an enormous emotional and financial burden on children and their families. Many families struggle to afford medicines, transportation, nutritious food, and other essential needs while their children undergo treatment.

What We Have Done So Far

With the support received for this project, Adjah Cancer Support Ghana has been providing assistance to children affected by cancer and their families. We have worked to identify children and families facing difficulties during treatment and connected with healthcare professionals and caregivers to better understand their most urgent needs.

We have supported children with essential medications and treatment-related needs and provided assistance that helps families manage some of the additional challenges that come with prolonged cancer care. We have also continued raising awareness about childhood cancer and the importance of early diagnosis and timely treatment.

Our support also extends to children connected with Home of Hope, where we help provide essential care and support while children receive cancer treatment.

How Donations Are Helping

Donations have helped us contribute toward medications, transportation assistance, nutritional support, and other essential treatment-related needs. Every contribution helps reduce some of the financial pressure on families and allows them to focus more on their children's recovery.

This project remains ongoing. Many children still need assistance, and continued support will allow us to reach more children and provide more consistent help throughout their treatment journey.

Our Let’s Help Children with Cancer in Ghana project is focused on supporting children diagnosed with cancer by improving access to treatment, care, and essential support services. Many children and their families face overwhelming financial and emotional challenges, including the high cost of medications, hospital visits, transportation, and nutritional needs during treatment.

Through this initiative, we are helping provide support that improves treatment continuity and enhances the well-being of children undergoing cancer care. These efforts are helping vulnerable families cope with the burden of illness while giving children a better chance at recovery and improved quality of life.

With ongoing donations received, we are able to extend support to more children and strengthen pediatric cancer care efforts across communities.
