Happy New Year !
In SANTI we are proud to complete 2019 and preparing for 2020 training programs.
- SANTI students put a stall in Lions Club Puja Festival and sold soft toys and garments worth INR 4000. These are the students learning how to make soft toys and sewing/alteration and will be able to self sustain in future. As we have seen many examples in the past.
- SANTI did a survey to identify local child laborers who are working in local businesses. We have identified 315 children aged from 9 to 14 years old who are working as child laborers. This survey helped us to evaluate the need for this area.
- In 2020 we will plan to provide educational programs to streamline them towards their skills development and training.
We need your help so please keep continuing your support and have a great year ahead.
Thank you

Dear Friends,
Hope you are enjoying your summer time and we in SANTI are enjoying summer too. We are going through fun filled events at Training School.
- We are thrilled to start a new batch of summer training classes with 16 students. Our students are Amrita, Asha, Gouri, Namanti, Nilima, Pooja, Pramila, Pramodini, Pratima, Prattima, Rilen, Sagita, Sanju, Santari, Suchita and Susmita. They are learning to make Indian ladies dresses.
- Record Keeping training was provided by SANTI to Women Self Help Group, members of Barupara Ward No.13 of Rajgangpur. This will help the WSHG to keep daily records of their tasks and duties in a reportable structure that is needed by local government. SANTI’s help in this provided a big relief to them to understand the need and transparency required in reporting methods.
We wish them a great success of learning this important skill and in future they will be able to earn money as many of them are already doing it.
Your contribution helped us to train and bring direct results to them.
Thank you for your support.
