We reiterate our gratitude for the generous donation of $ 3398.00 received so far from 72 amazing donors who contributed to the project #40580 renovation of Anay training center located in the historical section of Fianarantsoa. With the COVID-19 pandemic impacting everyday life, we thank you for your continued support and wish you and your community health and peace. Right now, Halt Poverty faces new challenges. As we adapt to these unprecedented circumstances, we will continue to serve our communities as best we can. Recent circumstances have led us to suspend programs related to constructions.
On the one hand, May 11th, our local partner who oversees the renovation emailed us a new budget related to the project. Copies of the updated of the budget are available for review. On the other hand, to both ensure the safety of our community, and comply to the authority’s command, Madagascar lockdown remains until July 20th we have made necessary modifications to our programming that we would like to share with you.
While much of this is out of our control, we are dedicated to finding ways to serve our constituents and hope to resume programming soon. While the changes brought by the pandemic are significant, there is hope in some of the innovation emerging around the globe to address the impact of this stumbling block. We are thrilled you are part of this memorable journey. We look forward to resuming the original programming related to the renovation of this historical landmark once it is safe to do so. Stay home.
