Summary details:
Greetings from Food Security Initiative (FSI) Nepal! Our organization is always grateful to all its donors and Global giving for their kind contribution. The education distribution program for visually impaired children has only been achievable because of your generous support.
One of the purposes of FSI Nepal is to inspire physically and economically challenged children for getting better education for better livelihood in future. And we are always thankful for your essential supports. Basically, this not for profit organization is more focused on food security and this is not our core program however, we cannot stay behind in providing support for these needy children. Thus, under need based program we are raising fund to educate them. We have been raising fund since last year and had provided different education materials from the raised fund. This year 2019, we are planning to provide visually impaired computer software like JWAS and Zoomtext and some desktops to 15 visually impaired children. These are computer screen reader program that allows blind and visually impaired children to read the screen either with a text to speech output or by refreshable Braille display. This screen reading software helps them in their study and connects with the world. Through your long term support, we will be able to support in providing quality education and achieve the desired results.
Your commitment and kindness inspire us to help out the physically challenged children for their bright future. HELP FOR HUMANITY! We wish you all HAPPY and PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR 2019.
With sincere gratitude,
Srijana Upreti
