Warm Greetings from FSI Nepal
Thank you donors and global giving team for your generous contribution to bring smile on face of marginalized visually impaired children. Your support will result great impact on education of these children.
Under need based project FSI Nepal is providing education materials, clothes and food to fulfill basic need of deprived children since long. Recently, the organization provides talking calculator, radio and hard drive to 16 visually impaired children at their hostel with a hope that they will use as source of education medium. The teacher of these children said that these could be very helpful for access to information and to learn by hearing. The talking calculator helps to do math calculation easily. We know radio is one of the great sources to access to information and entertainment, these children assured for best utilization of it. The course materials in audio book are available in internet and market for visually impaired people and we are hopeful that hard drive could be used to understand the subject matter for them.
Madan feelings
My name is Madan and I am 14 years old. I could not see since i was born. I am from very remote district Mugu of Nepal. I belong to very low income family struggling for having basic needs in my village. My childhood was very miserable. I could not go to school because it was very far from my home and my family members could not send me school. I used to stay at home all the time and sometime I used to go field to help my parents. They cried a lot for me. But I am lucky that I am selected from this organization to be here in capital city Kathmandu, Nepal and currently studies in 7 grades in public school. I have been here from last 6 years for better education because, only education I could compete and win the world. I want to be a singer in future. I am very happy receiving talking calculator, radio and pen drive. These materials are eyes to us and definitely support me and my friends, brothers and sisters living together with me in learning. I heartily thanks to FSI Nepal and the supporter for proving them very useful education materials.
