Warm greetings to all kind hearted people who have been supporting for this valuable humanitarian work. This time in quarterly report we will like to express response from the teacher of visually impaired children after having education materials like talking calculator, radio and hard drive.
Access to information is the medium to empower everyone because it provides knowledge on different useful topics and up to date news make aware on what is happening within country and in global. The teacher of 16 visually impaired children of residential education center provided by Nepal Integrated Blind Development association was very happy and expressed that the education materials provided by FSI Nepal are very useful in their context. The children are seems to be cheerful while listening radio program and feel comfortable in doing mathematical problems. The audio book downloaded from internet is very useful materials to us and the children can learn through listening. And they have wished to have desktops with visually impaired friendly programming in future. Fundraising for such noble cause is very difficult for us because we are mostly working in food security and nutrition sector. However, we are helping the needed people through our need based project like distributing education materials. Differently able people are always treating as disabled in life despite of their potentialities. Hence, we need to enhance their capacity and support them in living better life.
All of this is achievable by your generous and we are expecting to support more these children in future. Thank you for helping FSI Nepal to enhance the quality of education for these children. We could not do at least this much without you.
