Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to repair a community borehole that now provides clean and safe drinking water to more than 500 people in rural Uganda. Before the rehabilitation, families depended on unsafe water sources that exposed them to preventable diseases and forced women and children to spend many hours every day searching for water.
Today, the restored borehole has become a source of renewed hope for the entire community. Families can now collect clean water within a short distance from their homes, allowing children to spend more time in school and parents to devote additional time to farming, small businesses, and caring for their families.
The availability of safe water has also improved sanitation and hygiene practices, reducing the incidence of waterborne illnesses and lowering household healthcare costs. Community members have taken ownership of the water source by establishing maintenance committees that will help ensure its sustainability for years to come.
Your generosity has done far more than repair a borehole. It has restored dignity, protected health, strengthened livelihoods, and created new opportunities for community development.
Thank you for your continued compassion and partnership. Together, we are bringing clean water and lasting hope to vulnerable communities throughout Uganda.
