I want to sincerely thank you for helping with this project to construct a much-needed Community Center in the heart of this amazing community in Nassau, Bahamas. Your support has made this possible, and has inspired us to keep pushing on despite the many obstacles we have been presented with during the process.
We are currently working on some great programming that will be rolling out once the Center officially opens on October 20, 2018. Our focus will be on the youth; however, we will also be working with the elderly in the area, young mothers, and unemployed individuals. The Center will serve as a base for other nonprofits, companies, foundations, and individuals to come in to this community from near and far to offer new opportunities and activities. The potential for this community to prosper is great, thus thank you again for joining us in this effort. I hope you will continue to support the programming of the Neville and Nora Dorsett Community Center and keep an eye on our progress and impact.
Lastly, I invite you to join us for the Grand Opening on October 20, 2018 in Nassau, Bahamas. We will be throwing a block party to celebrate with members of the community as well as donors who have supported since Day 1!
