Dear Supporters,
Breast cancer can create serious financial challenges for women and their families. While patients are dealing with diagnosis and treatment, they may also struggle to pay rent, electricity, water, and other basic household expenses. For women who are unable to work during treatment, these challenges can become even more difficult.
What We Have Done So Far
Adjah Cancer Support Ghana has been supporting vulnerable women affected by breast cancer who face financial difficulties during their treatment journey. We have engaged with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to better understand the challenges they face beyond their medical care.
With donations received, we have provided assistance toward essential household expenses, including rent and utility needs, for breast cancer patients experiencing financial hardship. This support has helped ease some of the pressure patients face while undergoing treatment and allowed them to focus more on their health and recovery.
We have also continued providing encouragement, guidance, and support to patients and families as they navigate the emotional, medical, and financial challenges associated with breast cancer.
How Donations Are Helping
Donations are helping vulnerable breast cancer patients meet essential living expenses while they undergo treatment. Assistance with rent, electricity, water, and other basic needs can provide greater stability at a time when patients and families are already dealing with significant medical costs.
This project remains ongoing. Many women continue to face financial hardship during cancer treatment, and continued donations will enable us to support more patients with essential household needs and help them maintain dignity and stability throughout their treatment journey.
Thank you for standing with women battling breast cancer and helping ease the financial challenges they face beyond the hospital. Your support reminds them that they are not alone.
