Dear Supporters,
A breast cancer diagnosis can create significant financial pressure for women and their families. While patients focus on treatment and recovery, many continue to face household expenses such as rent, electricity, water, and other basic living costs. For women who are unable to work during treatment, these expenses can become especially difficult to manage.
What We Have Done So Far
Through this project, Adjah Cancer Support Ghana has been supporting women affected by breast cancer who are experiencing financial difficulties during their treatment journey. We have engaged with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to better understand the challenges women face beyond their medical treatment.
With donations received, we have provided assistance toward essential household needs, including rent and utility-related expenses, for vulnerable breast cancer patients. This support has helped reduce some of the financial stress patients experience while undergoing treatment and allowed them to focus more on their health and recovery.
We have also continued providing emotional support, guidance, and referrals while connecting vulnerable patients with available resources and assistance.
How Donations Are Helping
Donations are helping women with breast cancer maintain stable living conditions during treatment. Assistance with rent, electricity, water, and other essential household expenses can make a meaningful difference for patients who are already dealing with medical and treatment costs.
This project remains ongoing because many women continue to face financial hardship during cancer treatment. Continued support will enable us to assist more breast cancer patients and help them maintain dignity, stability, and hope throughout their treatment journey.
Thank you for standing with women battling breast cancer and helping ease the financial challenges they face beyond the hospital. Your support reminds them that they are not alone.
