Estas familias han conservado por generaciones estos bosques, y han utilizado las donaciones recibidas por GlobalGiving para la compra de materiales necesarios para el mantenimiento de las fincas. En estas fincas se conserva flora y fauna importante para el mundo entero, además de ser áreas de recargas de recurso hídrico para Costa Rica, principalmente para la provincia de Limón. Estas 2025 hectáreas de bosque pertenecen a familias asociadas a ASIREA, es por esto que nos unimos para ayudarles a conservarlas. La cacería ilegal es uno de los principales problemas que se presentas diariamente, lo que hace necesario tener carriles limpios para poder recorrer la finca con facilidad para resguardar la fauna. These families have conserved these forests for generations, and have used the donations received by GlobalGiving to purchase materials needed to maintain the farms. Important flora and fauna for the entire world are conserved on these farms, in addition to being water resource recharge areas for Costa Rica, mainly for the province of Limón. These 2,025 hectares of forest belong to families associated with ASIREA, which is why we come together to help them conserve them. Illegal hunting is one of the main problems that arise daily, which makes it necessary to have clean lanes to be able to easily walk the farm to protect the fauna.
