With the donations received during the year 2022, the beneficiary families have been able to buy tools for cleaning the lanes and trails of the farms they conserve. By having these clean spaces, it is easier to travel around the farm in order to prevent the entry of illegal hunters who damage the fauna in this area. The Gutiérrez family also managed to repair the corral by painting the ceiling and changing some wooden rules.
The Otárola family is one of the families that benefited from the donations received. They have managed to preserve their forest for many years, without any help from the Government of Costa Rica, which makes them an exemplary family in their community, inheriting the love for the forest to their new generations.
