Green Course is made up of hundreds of volunteer activists, the majority are students from all around the country who believe in active participation and the importance of taking personal responsibility in shaping society, protecting the environment and continuously working towards a better Israel.
During the last three months, we continued to advance main burning environmental issues in the country, in front of decision makers in local authorities and in the Israeli Knesset. We continued to raise and maintain public discourse of the public's right to its natural resources. We changed the attitude of the Ministry of Environment Protection regarding air pollution in Haifa Bay while understanding the challenges and ways to resolve them, and have strengthened the continued activities of the Israeli-climate protection group, started with last November climate march and continued with a seminar in February and a colorful families' event in the Kishon Park in Haifa, this past Passover. Tens' of meetings and field activities were held over all organization's topics. Multiple collaborations and cooperation with the public and local communities. Green Course Leadership Program is going according to the academic year running theoretically and in practice.
